Good news coming all the way from Newyork which is about the Palpreet singh brar from Punjab (Muktsar Sahib) 22 year old NBA player is picked for National Basketball Association (NBA) D-League and joined the list among with “Satnam Singh” who was First player from india in the development league (NBA’s official minor league) selected last year.

Palpreet singh is picked by the Long Island Nets owned by the one of NBA Franchise Brooklyn Nets.

The Long Island Picked “Palpreet Singh brar” as the 14h pick in the fourth round of the draft. During trail periods “Palpreet Singh Brar” was one of three Indians Players among the 182 shortlisted players for the 2016 D-League draft. The other two Indians were Amjyot Singh and Amritpal Singh.

Palpreet Singh is 6 foot 9 inch tall is very fast and furious when comes to speed and have a amazing quality to shoot from the long range. This ability of his makes him stand out of the crowd.

Now Palpreet Brar will join the Long Island Nets training squad for some time and from where 10 players will be selected for the final round. If he get selected then he will join the other two Indian Players: Satnam and Sim bhullar Indian origin player to play in the D-league.

Palpreet Singh Brar’s journey for playing basketball begins when he was 16 years old. A son of soil was very dedicated to his playing. He was first discovered by Indias’s first national basketball talent search programme. where later is becomed the winner of this Talent Search programme First time organised. He impressed all of us with his playing but also impressed the NBA champion “Brian Shaw” at national finals of ACG NBA Jump held in the last week of Februay.

After Winning the Talent hunt programme all eyes was set for the D-leagure So Palpreet Brar was working / training very hard at New york athletic club at manhattan with coach Ross Bur to get selected in the D-league.

Now finally he becomed the second Indian player to join the D-league. We all are very proud of him and hoping for his selection for the final round.
